The Miller Place Twins and Multiples Meetup Group is looking for parents who will actively participate in regularly scheduled activities with a desire to form friendships for themselves and their children.

...HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER...


  • Contact Michelle, the Organizer, stating your interest in the group

  • The Organizer will help you choose a "Peek-A-Boo Playdate" (Ex: public library, playground, park, etc.) to attend.





  • This group includes members that are Stay at Home Moms, full-time, and part-time working mothers. Several of the members have twins in addition to other children.

  • This group has an active message board forum that allows all members to ask and give advice, vent frustrations, share successes, as well as share the happenings of their daily lives, exchange recipes, and encourage each other to set and reach goals (losing weight, exercising, etc.)

  • It may be difficult to take the initiative to join an already established group, but new members are always welcome. We are all Moms of Twins and Multiples, we instantly share a special bond.

  • Check out our calendar of events. A variety of events held at various members' homes, as well as parks, beaches, playgrounds, and petting zoos. There are Moms' Night Out events, which give us an opportunity to get to know each other even better, relax and chat without children.

  • THE $20/year in DUES ARE USED FOR KEEPING THE MEETUP SITE UP AND RUNNING. It costs $180/year to run the site. If there is extra money left over, it can be used toward reserving a venue for an event, reducing admission for an event, purchasing prizes/grab bags or refreshments such as pizza and ice cream after an event. *A recent suggestion was to use the money to have someone perform a puppet show for our group. Details are still in the works.

  • We welcome suggestions to make this group even better.
